Actor and country-pop singer and writer Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the team of One Tree Hill as Alex in its final three seasons. Her first few releases as a country artist were featured on episodes of the show, which helped her debut album of the same name to make it into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the album which followed in 2015, was also among in the Top Ten. Her decade culminated by performances in Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, the self-doubting Voices was released. Born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer grew up on country music. She would later be pursuing a recording career. However, she began her professional life as an actor making her onscreen debut in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teens. After appearing as a guest on All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed the role of Noelle Davenport in NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer was next seen on 90210 in the role of Portia Randson in 2008 through 2009 and also as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. Then in 2009, she was part of the cast of One Tree Hill in the role of Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until about midway through the last season One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her get a recording contract from Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary music video for the love song of a country singer I Won't Give Up. The song was later featured on Jana Kramer, her debut album released in the year 2012. It climbed to number 5 in the Billboard Top Country Albums. In the meantime, she focused on her career in music, Kramer continued acting and appeared in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 (which appealed to her fans) or Country Crush 2016 (which would appeal her music fans). In October of 2015, Kramer came out with Thirty One from Warner Music Nashville. It received a boost from her Top Five country song I Got the Boy and also in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album climbed to three places on the Billboard 200 country charts and number 10 in the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her two month stint on 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars ended with a 4th place finish. In the same year, it was"Feels Like" Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser became an enormous adult contemporary success.
