Andree Martinez

Andree is a Mexican-born American who was born and raised in El Paso. Her family has the genes for entertainment. When she was a little girl, she grew up around host of television shows, for example, her younger sister Karla Martinez (Host of Univision's Despierta America! (1997)) and family musician and singers. Andrew Martinez is the vice head of Safety Security and Resiliency in Southern California Edison, one of America's largest electric utilities. He oversees the company's programs and activities which focus on worker safety, as well as business resilience, which are key issues for SCE. Martinez provides safety managers throughout every aspect of the business mentorship professional programs, as well as support in achieving the goals for safety of their specific work groups. Prior to his appointment in the current role, Martinez was director of Safety Training and Compliance for Transmission & Distribution at SCE. He previously served as director of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. Over the course of his thirty years working at SCE Martinez has held several senior positions within corrective action and improvement initiatives, including roles at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) that focused on protecting employees and the public from hazards.
